It's the holidays, and I was feeling ambitious so here goes！(Season 3 of the 30 Day Anime Challenge)

Day 01. Gintama

Watch an episode of anime about aliens.

A regular day at the beach.

An alternate universe where aliens and humans coexist, where the industrial revolution happened a few centuries too early, and where JUMP is still being published. I bring to you Gintama, the greatest waste of time in the world, yet 100% worth it. When they said alien anime, Dragon Ball Z. But that's in there too.

Day 02. Black Cat

Watch an episode of anime about assassins.

I bring you good tidings.

An anime about assassins？What could be better than a story revolving around an entire organisation of assassins？Perhaps the superstition of bad luck from a black cat crossing your path wasn't completely wrong after all...

Day 03. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

Watch an episode of anime about cyborgs.

No, the big guy's human. It's the little one we're concerned about.

Of course something like Ghost in the Shell would've been highly appropriate, however I did not have a copy of that anywhere nearby so this had to settle. It's a brilliant anime, none quite like it so no one was complaining. By definition, cyborgs are cybernetic organisms where they have both biological and artificial parts. So Ed with his classy automail fits the definition perfectly！

Day 04. Kuroshitsuji

Watch an episode of anime about demons.

Wise choice, my lady.
I believe I need not remind you of what may have happened if you chose foolishly. ♥ 

The demon butler (sometimes the demon tutor) and his young master. What more need I say?

Day 05. Dragon Ball Z

Watch an episode of anime about dragons.

Dear Frieza and Cell. These are fake. Please don't come back to start a war over this picture.

Collect the 7 dragon balls, summon the dragon, make a wish, go look for the dragon balls again. And in between, keep the world from being destroyed time and time again by evil space beings by collecting energy over a span of 5 episodes.

Day 06. Puella Magi Madoka Magica

Watch an episode of anime about magic.

One Contract, One Wish, One Mission.

Don't be fooled by the cute art. This is one dark, dark anime with a brilliant plot. Any more would be a spoiler. If you haven't seen it before because magical girls just isn't your thing, you must give it a try. You may find yourself pleasantly surprised.

Day 07. Katanagatari

Watch an episode of anime about martial arts.

The strategist and her sword.

Though we may never see it in real life, the Japanese sword martial arts named Kyotouryuu certainly exists in this particular dimension！

Day 08. You Can(not) Advance

Watch an episode of anime about mechas.

Though strictly speaking, this is a 'movie' however being adapted from the original anime series, I'm sure it can be counted to be an exception.

Day 09. Nodame Cantabile

Watch an episode of anime about music.

The perfectionist Chiaki who's good at everything he comes across. The cute but slobbish Nodame who has amazing potential as a pianist. Put them together, add a shady conductor, a french otaku, a russian exchange student, random words such as mukya！and gyabou！and beautiful music pieces.

Day 10. Naruto Shippuuden

Watch an episode of anime about ninjas.

You were going to watch something else？...

I wanted to watch something less mainstream for this like Nabari no Ou but I didn't have it so this had to settle for this.

Day 11. One Piece

Watch an episode of anime about pirates.

The next pirate king.

The only pirate anime that exists in my world ♥

Day 12. Mawaru Penguindrum

Seizon Senryaku！

She demands you to find the Penguindrum with her penguin friends or your sister dies.

Horoo~？

Classic samurai anime. If anyone has not seen it before, something to get onto！

Creating the perfect weapon suitable for the Shinigami to use thus it's still a story about shinigamis.

Space pirates that work for the government 8D.

Day 17. Bamboo Blade

Best anime of 2011 in my books. Taking news watching to a whole new level.

Who is dead？...

An anime that will make you realise that a zombie apocalypse isn't the most terrifying thing out there...

Day 20. Hellsing

Watch an episode of anime about vampires.

Complain once more about fictional vampires and I'll shoot you.

Vampires are overrated... but Hellsing？Hellsing is a whole different story. With none of that romance fluff attached, a true tale of horror featuring dracula and his master.

Day 21. CANAAN

Watch an episode of anime who's main character is a woman.

Not many men feature in this anime. Not many at all... I can only remember 2.

Day 22. Digimon Adventure

Watch an episode of anime where the characters all have pets/sidekicks.

Simply put, she's the evil villain who's not so evil and gets side tracked from her attempts to take over the world. She would also like you to know that she is a squid girl born on earth and is definitely NOT an alien.

Never have I seen such artwork for an anime but it worked so wonderfully with the story.

The strangest anime I have ever seen... So in the end what really happened？I will never know.
